The Art Party Event began in 2016. This year will be our 8th year. We’d love for you to take part in this community-building, art-loving event with us.

There are 2 ways you can participate:

1) Art Party Venue Your business location can get foot traffic by displaying artwork from our Juried Exhibition & Competition.

2) Stroll Card Exchange Site As an incentive for Art Party guests to make purchases, you can provide a reward for their completed “Art Party Stroll Card”.

Besides your normal business hours, Art Party Venues and Stroll Card Exchange Sites will be expected to be open during the Art Party Stroll.

ART PARTY VENUE

As a Art Party Venue, you will display Art Party artwork in your business.

This artwork will be part of Art Party’s Juried Exhibition—to be displayed from Monday, October 30 through Saturday, November 18. We will curate Juried artwork to place in your business.

As an official Art Party Venue, your business:

  • will be one of the Stroll Card sites in our Art Party Guide

  • will be highlighted as a Art Party Venue on our Art Party website

  • will be clearly marked as an official Art Party site with window signage and sandwich board signs.

ART PARTY VENUE GUIDELINES 

BEFORE EVENT

  • Complete a Venue Sign-up form (Google Form)*
  • Sign an “Artist & Venue Hosting Agreement” that we will email to you and the artist(s) chosen to show in your space.
  • Accept delivery of artwork & store it as early as Thursday, October 19. Artist(s) will coordinate directly with you to arrange delivery. Working with you, we will appropriately install the art on your premises.

    DURING EVENT

  • Please be available to attach (provided) Art Party stickers to guest’s Stroll cards.
  • Handle Sales. Visitors wishing to purchase the art will do so through each of the Venues who can take 30% (minus sales tax) of the sale, giving 70% to the artist (minus sales tax). 
AFTER EVENT
  • Unsold work should be removed by the artist by Tuesday, November 21
  • Payment for artwork sold due to the artist by Wednesday, November 29.

STROLL CARD EXCHANGE SITE

Another way to participate in Art Party is to be one of our Stroll Card Exchange Sites.
The Stroll Cards are designed to invite Art Party guests to visit as many participating studios and businesses as possible.

Art Party Guests will be invited to fill out a stroll card with stickers from participating sites during Art Party’s 2-day Stroll. (Stroll cards are printed in the back of the Art Party Guide.) Once they collect a minimum number of stickers, they can tear off the card and exchange it for a reward at a Stroll Card Exchange Site—designated with a red dot in the window.

Reward options can range from a coupon, discount on purchase, BOGO or a free item—we leave that up to you.

As a an official Stroll Card Exchange Site, your business:

  • will be included in the stroll card section of the Art Party Guide

  • will be clearly marked as an official Art Party site with window signage.

  • Distribute Art Party Guides to your customers. Art Party Guides will be available during Art Party on Friday (Nov 17) & Saturday (Nov 18) at participating Studios, Galleries, Businesses & our Art Party info desk (located at the Gettys Arts Center, 201 E MAIN ST.)
  • Provide the reward in exchange for completed Art Party Stroll Cards before the end of Art Party, Saturday, Nov 18, 2023—retain stroll cards for the exchange.

AFTER EVENT

  • Please return these completed stroll cards to Art Party office (Friday Arts Project) for our records.
